JC Ringer, Treasurer

Ten years ago, JC Ringer became a homeowner in West Milford Township, but throughout his life the Highlands of NJ have always been a day trip destination for boating, fishing, biking and hiking.  JC has over 30 years experience managing and maintaining commercial real estate, both his own properties as well as other owned properties.  Having been a professional power boat racer, JC has been instrumental in organizing and working many boat racing events.  Other events he has been involved in are the Greenwood Lake Air Show, the Greenwood Lake Water Ski Clinic, German Oktoberfest (on Long Island).  He is also a member of the West Milford Elks Lodge #2236.  With a desire to bring fun family-friendly activities and events to our area, JC became a member of the West Milford Tourism Committee and later the West Milford Economic Development Committee.  He now serves as Treasurer of the Highlands Economic Development and Tourism Corporation.  Eager to promote the mission of this new group, Ringer says, “Through encouragement of good business decisions and outdoor recreation, we plan to work within the framework of the Highlands Act to restore economic viability to the region.”
